Trovi valli dove non esiste elettricità, grandi vecchi come Bonatti o Rigoni Stern, ferrovie abitate da mufloni, case cantoniere e paracarri da leggenda, bivacchi sotto la pioggia in fondo a caverne, santuari dove divinità pre-romane sbucano continuamente dietro ai santi del calendario. E poi parroci bracconieri, custodi di rifugi leggendari, musicanti in cerca di radici come Francesco Guccini o Vinicio Capossela. Un'Italia di quota, dove la tv sembra raccontare storie di un altro pianeta. Le due parti del racconto, Alpi e Appennini, hanno andatura e metrica diversa. Le Alpi sono pilastri visibili, famosi; sono fatte di monoliti bene illuminati e sono transitate da grandi strade. Paolo Rumiz is a makeup artist who has worked on films such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014) and Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps (2010). She also worked on Star Trek (2009), where she was involved in the redesign work on the Romulan race. Hall decided to pursue a career in Hollywood makeup at the age of 17. She attended San Diego State University, but she dropped out and instead joined the apprenticeship programme for makeup at the San Francisco Opera.
